Comet C/1969 Y1 (Bennett)
This comet, discovered on 1969 Dec 28, was originally known as 1969i but the current IAU naming conventions make it C/1969 Y1. I had no means of photographing it at the time but I made a pencil sketch which is here shown in inverted contrast.
