Comet 78P/Gehrels, 2011 September

This periodic comet was too faint to see in the telescope. This was perhaps because, being in Pisces directly under the square of Pegasus. it was only at an altitude of about 20° from my position. I used some star-hopping software of my own to find it from its predicted coordinates. Processing the stack of photos revealed it (just):

Canon EOS 5D MkII ISO6400 33x30s 254mm Newtonian f/4.8 (f=1200mm)
HEQ5 mount, driven but not guided 2011 Sep 29 00:00:41-00:20:11 UT
From Rookhope 54.8N 2.1W 330m asl. Rural, almost no light pollution (3 Bortles)
