 Venus, Moon, Jupiter, etc

I have tried to show the conjunction of Venus (above the Moon), the (overexposed) Moon and Jupiter (below the Moon) in context. Sirius is on the left, then Orion and Taurus with the Hyades and the Pleiades. The line of stars forming Orion's bow can be seen, aimed at the head of the bull.

Canon EOS 5D MkII ISO800 32s
24-105mm lens @24mm f/4.5
Fixed tripod 2012 Mar 26 20:11:40 UT
From Rookhope 54.8N 2.1W 330m asl. Rural, almost no light pollution (3 Bortles)

A longish exposure was used because I wanted a low ISO setting, to avoid too much noise. The stars are therefore trailing slightly.

 Jupiter, Venus & the Moon

The day had been very clear but already in this photo you can see streaks of clouds forming.
