Camera or phone?
Some people have got results using only a phone
Or a phone looking into a telescope
If that's all you have, by all means have a go
BUT
Phone lenses are very small - cannot collect much light
Can you really keep the lens on your phone CLEAN?
You really need a digital camera of some kind
A major aim of this talk is to demonstrate that you will not necessarily need much else. A simple tripod
would help but there are amazing things to photograph without a telescope.
You will not get far with a film camera - it must be digital. The reasons will become apparent.
